Managing the Impression you give through your communication style and delivery is crucial, particularly when in positions where you are consulting or coaching other executives. Since strong communication delivery is critical in everyday interactions for all members, this topic is of interest to a wide number of ODN members.
This is an interactive program. You will leave being able to immediately "apply" 1 or 2 communication choices that will strengthen the impression you give your listeners. With increased awareness of how nuances in your communication style influence the perception of your listeners, you can expand your ability to manage the impression you give when you are speaking.
Leah Lorendo has been a communication consultant at Speakeasy, LLC for 12 years. She has a doctorate in Health Care Administration, a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and a Master's in Organizational Development and Leadership. She works globally with executives from a variety of industries from Fortune 100 companies. Her consulting in communication style and delivery and message development encompasses private coaching with executives, conducting modules in leadership development programs, and facilitating courses with senior leadership teams.
