Networking, A Life Skill
11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Spazio Westport
Networking is one of the most important life skills you can ever acquire, or teach others. Networking is a "giver’s game," which means it involves caring for others. The more you care about the other person, the more you will go out of your way to help them be successful. When you care for others, they will care for you.
To truly be a "networker," you need to be viewed as a "connector." People contact you because of who you know. People contact you because you always provide assistance. Being able to connect different people, and assist in their success, is one of the most rewarding things you can do in your life. True networking is finding ways of assisting others to be successful; giving more than receiving.
By exercising, expanding, and sharing your network, you will add a new level of security and satisfaction to your life. Regardless of what challenges you have in life, you will be better prepared to turn these challenges into opportunities - and ultimately successes. Pass along the gift of yourself, and the life skill of networking, to everyone you meet.
