ASTD St. Louis - Social Media

Our social media strategy is to create the opportunity for local training professionals who blog to generate their own online content for business, education and information sharing purposes.  The intent is not to provide an avenue for marketing personal brands.  Instead, there are no sponsored posts or endorsements here, but an outlet for our best thinkers to build shared meaning such as T&D relevant resources and content to those who like to read blogs.

As such, a blog moderator will be monitoring things, as well as keeping you updated on the latest developments in the field.  So, feel free to respond to a posting or share content.  The only two requirements are that you must be an ASTD St. Louis chapter member and second, allow the blog moderator to do her job and ensure entries are within the standards set by the chapter.

We hope you will also join the forum going on through our LinkedIn group.  There the conversations are direct and short for those who need assistance, who merely want to share some news with the group, as well as view online profiles of the many avid training fans locally.   So, check back often here and on LinkedIn to see what’s new and don’t be shy if you have a suggestion, want to submit a featured article, any news or a blog entry with something fun to share

Social Media Blog is currently under construction

Note: LinkedIn is not hosted by ASTD. If you experience any technical issues please contact Linked In support located on the Linked In home page.

Barbara Giamanco, a social media consultant, conducted a webinar on how to use Linked In for our chapter.  Watch the recorded webinar on LinkedIn here.
